Did You Know? Did you know So. Florida athletes (football) despite staying home attending ASA (Miami) junior college--youll still pay out-of-state tution if youre not awarded a full scholarship for their (80) man roster. If youre asking why will I pay out-of-state tution when the school is in Florida. Ill answer tour question, because ASA (Miami) is a satelite junior college thats operating in So. Florida but your tution is base out of new york where the main campus is locates. So while youre staying home youre paying twice as more rather did attending out-of-state junior college programs such as California, kansas and Mississippi. ASA (Miami) students will if they choose this path will pay $4,200 per semester, $2000 for dorms and roughly $500-700 per semester for books. If you receive a full pell grant thats $5,700 for the WHOLE YEAR. Which means youll owe $20,100 if you attend ASA (Miami) for three semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer). If you stay six semesters youll owe $40,200 and thats if you receive full pell grant. This message is only educating future student-athletes of what to expect if you was to walk-on and follow that route without a scholarship and not waiver your commitment from ASA (Miami).
