Did anyone else notice that the letter that came home yesterday reporting on the findings of the monitoring visit said that English as an Additional Language support was weak in the school. Surprising as 1) the OFSTED report that triggered the academisation has it as a strength of the school and 2) a very high proportion of pupils are EAL learners so, in the improvement supported by CfBT and others this was not seen as a priority? Hmmmmmmm.....
