Did anyone get a call from someone claiming to be from admissions asking for a payment? Be careful. I did. I put her off by saying Id call her back and asked her name and extension #. I asked her when I should call her by, noon or 3. She said 3, but mountain time. I called the school today to speak to her, around 1:30 PST. The school admissions office was closed. I called the enrollment department, got transferred to the bursars since Im concerned about what is still needing attention for a Feb 01 start date. The guy there said they do not take payments over the phone!!! Be careful, very very careful. Student loans or grants are meant to pay for school at low or no cost if you need the help to afford it. Anyone asking you to handle things last minute obviously is testing you to see what they can do with your info. Be smart. You chose this school for the reasons you have, to make the best choice... do not be pressured. Bring attention to it if it happens or has happened to you too.
