Did anyone here experience ICU/hospital psychosis after their surgery? I was on heart/lung bypass for a few hours and had lung and kidney failure as well. I was kept in a propofol coma for 13 days on a ventilator. When I regained consciousness, I was some messed up. Altered perceptions and delusions. This lasted for weeks. At times I was even put in restraints. To this day, I cant for the life of me figure out why I said some of the things I did. As my memory of the events fade, it seems as though it was all a bad dream. My chest scar reminds me of the reality.
