Did anyone see this story on 60 Minutes? According to Hare, oxytocin-- same hormone that helps new mothers bond with their babies-- is released in both dogs and humans when they play, touch, or look into one anothers eyes. So, folks, go adopt a dog. It turns out that for a nominal adoption fee, you really can buy love!! Now every time I pet Eleanors wonderful long, silky ears I look into her eyes and say, Eleanor, loooook deep into my eyes. Im releasing oxytocins in your brain dat makes you love me.... :)
