Did everyone keep safe in all that hail and rain and bad weather?? Gosh it was hailing very hard! Anyway, we had a small group of really awesome people tonight :) Worship time was really fun, wasnt it ;) The Coffee and Talk topic tonight was Happiness. When are the happiest moments for you? What are things that make you happy? Money? People? Eating? Or something else? When the Harvard University did a research around the question of What makes happiness?, they found that relationship was key to happiness. A scholar concluded that Happiness is love, and nothing other than love. In the Bible, it says But as for me, it is good to be near God. [Psalms 73:28] This good can also mean happy. So the Bible is saying, being near God is happy. What does it mean to be near God? It means to have a relationship with God, and have Him as your very loving Father, receiving His love. When we know that we are accepted by God, our Father, our identity changes. And this leads us to being able to love and accept others. So what is happiness? What is true happiness for you? It could be Having a personal relationship with the Father God. Have a think :) Next Rodem is 18th of November at the same place, same time.
