Did my part, small as it was, today. The mayor of Coronado was in Starbucks. Went over, introduced myself, and explained to him how on my bike rides to coffee, everywhere, left and right, peoples sprinkler systems were wasting water spraying the streets and gutters. California has a drought and his citizens were throwing it all away. He made the usual excuses, walked away, thought about it and came back over. What street? He asked. Ok!
