Did some work on my manuscript the last couple days- pecking out a chapter, neatening this, revising that on feedback from my most-excellent beta-readers. The Eye of Kog is probably going to come in around 160k words. I have a deadline of July 4th for completion. And the going is slow- I keep saying, the only thing I know is what happens. Miles from there to a decent chronicle. But today- foozle with this, patch that, and WHOOPS! Discovered an entire chapter I had put out for feedback, gotten good feedback, ready to revise, but I had forgotten to stick it in the WiP! Biggest doh! of my brief career- maybe early onset dementia, but I wrote a chapter and except for the internet posting board, I forgot where I put it. Copy-Paste, whew. And now the manuscript is at PRECISELY 70,000 words. So what the heck- I updated the Progress link on the website to celebrate being 43.75% done. If only! williamlhahn/
