Did the biblical flood really happen in History? Unfortunately No.. it did not.. there is no evidence on earth that will ever support that claim. It is an allegory; A story told to make a point; just like the rest of the narrative in the book. Heres how; Genesis 6:15 And this [is the fashion] which thou shalt make it [of]: The length of the ark [shall be] three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. Genesis 7:14-15; They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. 15; And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein [is] the breath of life. Genesis 7:20; Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and (all) the mountains were covered. So lets paint the picture: 1.So this ark was 450 feet in length, 75 feet in width and 45 feet in height, equal to the capacity of 569 modern railroad stock cars says an article on christiananswers.net; supporting the flood narrative 2.Two (male &female) of every animal of it kind (species) that walks or flies..was taken into the ark, 3.And the flood waters were risen 22 feet upward and covered the highest mountains... Here is how this is an impossibility; 1-2Ans). How is it possible to fit 2 of every animal/creeping thing on this boat? How many types of species are there? There is presently roughly eight million (8,000,000 species discovered today (201-) and statistics show that about ten thousand (10,000) species are discovered each year. 6.5 million (6,500,000) are LAND DWELLING. According to most biblical chronologies; the flood happened around 2500 BCE (correct me if I am wrong). Even tho they didnt have the advancements of today sciences to discover 10,000 species a year.. lets give them the benefit of doubt. So; This great flood allegedly happened about 4500 years ago; 4500 x 10,000 = 45000000 That means 4.5million species were discovered or appeared since this flood (give or take the percentage of land/sea animals). MORE importantly that means the ark housed two of every 2million (2,000,000) species of animal, 4MILLION... and for how many days? *check fossil records and other sources for scientific facts about animals and when they existed/evolved as their kind etc.) 3Ans). The highest mounts in the world are roughly 29,000 feet.. The flood waters were high enough to cover them by rising 22 feet upward???.....This does not fit at all... So let me explain this away,; The highest mounts in the world are roughly 29,000 feet..
