Did the echocardiogram. No results yet. Intensivist came in, said he thinks she probably has a lower respiratory infection. He doesnt think this is caused from her heart- could be her upper respiratory infection wasnt as cleared up as we thought and it migrated lower. No fluid or pneumonia in lungs. And all labs look good, some a little low, but nothing is high, so thats a plus. Sounds like its something we will just have to ride out and give her support as needed. So, Im optimistic. Will let yall know what cardiologist says when we get echo results. They are letting her have a soft diet - some yogurt and milk. She ate a tiny bit of yogurt and seemed to perk up a smidgeeeee after eating; clapping her hands and stuff, but is asleep again.
