Did this hearing ever happen? If so, why has nothing been printed? If not, why not? The Italian #marines did nothing more and nothing worse than the US sailors when they fired upon an Indian fishing boat that was recklessly speeding at them.....just as the US sailors did in the waters off the UAE the same year. And yet, for two and a half years, the Italians have been held hostage in India, while the US sailors are free. Why is that? Because the Italians - who were on official duty as well - happened to be guarding a private vessel? How is this dichotomy fair? What are the implications for this case to the international community?
