Did u know that in the state of Tennessee, the city of Memphis is taken directly from the former capital of ancient Kemet called Menefer (Memphis)? Its a city named and built in honor of the Nubian pharaoh named Narmer (Menes), who founded Kemet by unifying the upper and lower regions after he defeated the king known as Scorpion. Menefer (Memphis) was the worlds first metropolis. It was the capital city of Kemet. But Menefer was replaced as the capital city of Kemet when it was conquered by the Macedonian general called Alexander the Great. Alexander established a new capital named after himself, Alexandria. But 2 day, the capital of Egypt is Cairo. This is so because the Arabs conquered Egypt around 640 AD. Three different capital cities in one African country. The first being by the indigenous people of Africa, the other 2 by invaders, the Greeks and the Arabs. But Tennessee took the city named after a Nubian pharaoh. How many people know that? I bet Elvis Presley would roll over in his grave if he knew that.
