Did we look the other way, when Koro Ceesay was murdered and - TopicsExpress

Did we look the other way, when Koro Ceesay was murdered and framed as involved in an accident? How often does his spirit roam around the skies of Gambia, asking himself; why him?; gone mysteriously in the most heinous manner; wasnt enough of a mistake for our nation to learn from and vouch never again to repeat? How could more be slaughtered well after him? I bet he still wonders how can life be normal, in little Gambia, when neighbors simply mysteriously just vanish? This again crossed my mind, last night! Helplessly, kept me chilly for a while! Only Allah and Koro knew what it was like to experience being circled by your fellow country men (Gambians), whom he perhaps once trusted, not only plotted to betray him, but as well wanted him dead or had orders to have him dead, then looked at us in the eye and lied to us! Not once did it perhaps cross their minds that, it was never worth a darn thing taking his life! Gambia, did we leave this man hanging, all by himself? Did we leave Koro hanging? How many more do we have to leave hanging by themselves? It seems his only crime was to look out for Gambias well being! He wanted an ethical Gambia when it came to doing his job! Others after him wanted an ethical Gambia when it came to morals and values that a country needs to harmoniously prosper peacefully! See, as soon as his kind were gotten rid off, the million dollar cars, and airplanes started lining up at the statehouse and airport! Is Gambia always about getting rid of KU BU GUD DA RA, and the partying starts for everyone else?! GAMBIA!!! GAMBIA!!! GAMBIA!!! How can we ever get to jealously guarding our peace, if we are willing to sacrifice each other to please one man? Not Allah nor God but ONE MAN, for 20 years and counting? Even if we have managed over the years to continuously and miraculously jealously guard our peace, under said circumstances AT WHOSE EXPENSE ARE WE DOING SO??????? If this brings back bitter and hearth-felt memories to anyone whom knew him or his family, I sincerely apologize! Koro cannot be forgotten nor his plight a distant memory! Am deeply deeply disturbed by this Gambia we all call home! Engulfed in such thought-provoking challenges our country faces, and the urgent need to fix them, disallows me the luxury to cloud my mind further with what Thione Secka said or did! Aah Well! Every man your thoughts!
