Did you ever have had that one act, that one band or musician whose music made a huge impact on your life? For me, it was guitarist Pat Metheny. Ive been listening for 35 years now and have seen him perform several times over the last three decades. He - and his music - keep evolving. In case you havent heard, hes coming to Louisville on Sunday, July 27 to Kentucky Country Day Theater (fantastic venue, cozy with a nice stage and great seats). If you havent seen him, this show could be a nice introduction. Tickets are about $60 and went on sale to the public last Saturday, I think. There arent many artists Id pay that kind of money to see, but hes one of them.
