Did you grow up in Toronto? If so you will probably remember Centreville, the amusement park on Centre Island that was a big thing before Wonderland came along. I remember it fondly but havent seen it in about 20 years. I happened to be on Centre Island at night recently (more on that later) and got a chance to walk through Centreville. I was blown away! It hasnt changed a bit! Seriously, it looks exactly like it did 40 years ago. Do you remember the log flume ride - still exactly the same with the original logs. The tracks for the car rides, the sky ride, the swan boats - all exactly the same. It was so amazing to see it like this and it brought back a lot of great memories! I had a big smile on my face while snapping away on my iPhone. I only wish I had my real camera with me! Enjoy the photos...
