Have you already done a Masa Israel program? _____ Hillel is looking for Masa Israel Campus Representatives. This position is specifically for Masa Israel alumni that want to stay connected with Israel. The internship is a great way to both bring Israel to campus and help others have their own experiences in Israel. We are looking for students with the passion and interpersonal skills to join a cohort of leaders on campuses around the United States. This highly-selective, rewarding internship will open the door to opportunities in the Jewish world, including networking events and conferences. Monetary Break Down The payment structure for the internship is as follows: · Each Intern earns a base salary of $500 contingent upon their work in promoting and marketing Masa Israel. The base salary is paid by Masa Israel. · Each Intern earns up to an additional $500 based on the registered participants recruited from your school. The recruitment bonus is paid by Masa Israel. o Recruitment Goals will be determined by Hillel International and Masa Israel, based on the real numbers of past participants from your campus. o Students earn a percentage of that $500 based on the number of participants. Ex: if they recruit 80% of their goal, they receive $400. · Campuses must provide at least $500 to be used for programming and engagement activities Hiring Process Masa Israel’s primary interest is on finding the best Masa alumni to perform the role of Masa Israel Campus Rep. The hiring process is as follows: 1. Campuses recruit and interview Masa Israel program alumni. 2. In order to officially apply for the Campus Reps program students must fill out this application 3. Masa Israel staff will schedule in person or Skype interviews with the candidates. *note: Candidates are not officially selected until Masa interviews them. That should be made clear to the students* 4. Masa Israel and the campus will speak to decide whether or not to hire the students. *Masa’s focus is on hiring the best students for the job.
