Did you hear some loud noises around the Warragul Station early - TopicsExpress

Did you hear some loud noises around the Warragul Station early this morning? Here’s an update on what’s been going on: • Steel piles are currently being installed at the site of the new underpass rail bridge between Queen and Alfred Streets. • The steel piles will support the new rail bridge structure. • Construction of the rail bridge will occur during the planned rail closure this Friday 23 - Monday 26 May. The piles need to be installed before this work can commence. • Because piling works are happening near a live rail environment, they need to be done after the last train of the day and before the next train the following day. This means the works are done late at night/early in the morning. • Piling works are again planned for tonight and during the day on Saturday 24 May. If you have any questions about these works, please contact Thiess on 98648714 or email [email protected] Follow this link for more details about this weekend’s works: bawbawshire.vic.gov.au/files/6efe4ecf-a3ca-4679-b33b-a33000fae61f/Weekend_Rail_Occupation_Fact_Sheet.pdf
