Did you know...? 1. I have been studying to become a Certified Journal Therapist with The Center for Journal Therapy since 2004 and still need to finish ONE essay to get my certification. I am trusting the journey, haha. 2. I painted my front door It Works Global Green years before joining the company. #foreshadowing #fate 3. I have an entrepreneurial spirit. I have started Making it Beautiful, read.write.heal, and many other businesses and hobbies (such as doing hair feathers) over the past 10 years. I am sticking with It Works Global because I feel it best utilizes all of my skills and passions. 4. I used to pray that I would one day have a daughter with curly blonde hair that I would name Annalee. #forreal #godisgood 5. I never expected to have a redhead, but as they say, she is nothing that I ever expected and everything I ever dreamed. 6. I was baptized when I was 24. 7. Before I knew his name (but knew I liked him) I called my husband Orange Fleece Boy when Id see him in the cafeteria at Roanoke College. 8. I have an obsession with meeting musicians and will shamelessly brag about meeting Thom Yorke from Radiohead, Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, Willie Watson and Ketch Secor from Old Crow Medicine Show, Ralph Stanley, Charlie Gearhart from Goose Creek Symphony, Justin Townes Earl, and Ben Harper (twice). Still want to meet Seth and Scott! 12. My right bicep is still bigger than my left because of all the years I spent pitching. 13. I have a large amount of Native American ancestors on both sides of my family. I think I am technically 1/8 Cherokee. 14. I had an extreme fear of dogs until I was in my twenties when I got a sudden urge to adopt one I read about that was found on the side of a road. I got in my car, drove 2 hrs and brought home the very sick, 10+ year-old black-lab Shiner without ever asking my husband. 15. I once won an eating contest against all of my softball teammates in college.
