Did you know? From our friends at Proven Winners; "Did you know that hydrangeas have two types of flowers? The large, showy ones serve only to attract pollinators; all the business takes place in the smaller fertile florets you see toward the top of this photo. Mophead hydrangeas have a high number of the large sterile florets, and lace cap hydrangeas are comprised of a large number of the little fertile florets."
