Did you know I made a better business deal than Billionaire Mark Cuban? We both invested in Facebook when it first hit the market. I planned to invest for the long term. Mark on the other hand quickly sold within a few months. Am I smarter than Mark? No far from it. We just had different goals when we bought Facebook. The market hammered the stock and it was trading around $20 after starting at $38 or so. I held on and Mark sold a large number of stocks that he bought taking a loss. I held on when Wall Street continued to beat up on Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook. Billions of people are in Facebook so it was inevitable the stock price would go up. The moral of the story is to have an exit plan for whatever you do in business. Dont quit too soon because your big pay day could be waiting for you right around the corner. Note: Facebook is trading at $72.91 today.
