Did you know Maryland has become the 35th state to require coverage of meaningful autism benefits with the March release of the regulation by the Maryland Insurance Administration. Covered benefits include medically necessary rehabilitative services for children younger than 19 who have a diagnosis of autism or autism spectrum disorder, such as applied behavior analysis, psychological care and therapeutic care like speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
