That our specialist Explorer in residence ”Julian Monroe Fisher” and our general manager “Corne Schalkwyk” as well as Dr Gladys Kalema Zikusoka from our “Intimate Gorilla trip” with Premier Safaris are all members of the Explorers club based in New York. We fondly refer to our team as the “explorers” as they provide a unique insight into experiential travel in Uganda that is unbeatable. This is an international multidisciplinary professional society dedicated to the advancement of field research and the ideal that it is vital to preserve the instinct to explore. Since its inception in 1904, the Club has served as a meeting point and unifying force for explorers and scientists worldwide. All of the members are specialists in their fields and contribute to a global network of expertise, experience, technology, industry, and support. The Explorers Club actively encourages public interest in exploration and the sciences through its public lectures program, publications, travel program, and other events.
