Did you know, on the morning of 9/11/2001 when the Twin Towers were attacked in New York, every terrorist who boarded a plane in Boston used their real names. They were on the no fly list and identified as Al Queda. Before Flight 93 crashed on its own, it was identified as a hijacked plane and the Air Force was given orders to shoot it down. The pilot simply requested that the order be repeated clearly to shoot down a civilian air liner, Flight 93. He was told that the order was authentic from the White House. The pilot simply said, Roger. When the plane disappeared (because passengers overwhelmed the terrorists), it was 9 minutes from D.C., and not known if it crashed on its own or because it was intercepted. The fighter planes were in fact closing in. Flight 93 was never going to make it to DC. President Bush was in Air Force One, and yet another commercial plane started to descend into AF Ones flight path. Fighter jets were scrambled to intercept the plane, but it was identified as a local commercial liner with communication problems. Within two hours of the initial attack, there were fighter planes patrolling the skies over New York and several other major cities. Every plane in the air had been ordered to land. The President had spoken to the nation and, even with mere pieces of this information at the time only minutes after the initial attacks, he stated that terrorists had attacked America. And, on the night of 9/11/2012, President Barack Obama was informed that the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was under attack. He went to bed.
