Did you know that Mark and Scott Kelley, twin astronauts (Mark is Gabbie Giffords husband) are participating in a twin study on the effects of space travel on the human being? Or that intractable epilepsy is being treated with electrical brain implants giving some patients seizure free days for the first time in their lives? That autism treatment may be able to be customized because they can now turn skin cells into stem cells and grow them into neurons and find which part of the gene is damaged? How is that overthrow of Mubarak that we supported turning out for us? I learned all this and more by picking up the NYTimes in the print edition today . . . .
