Did you know that if you have your funds in any institution, you have a right to know where it is invested, and who are they financing? And you can get help to finance your projects? When I visited ABSA bank in Randfontein, I wanted the bank to help me with the orphans in West Africa, the white manageress, told me that they could help if it was in South Africa; but they can help me with some businesses which will help create jobs for the community, this is because, they can not support some activities, which wont help me, as a person who deposits my money with them. This is same with all the Provident/Pension Funds, like Momentum, Liberty, Sentinel, they have no right of sponsoring entertainments, yet the people who invested with them, are poor.
