Did you know that in the ancient Magic work called Goetia there is a description of the 72 demonic-Genii that Solomon used to build his temple, and a description of the 72 angels of God that were employed to keep them in check. The idea being that the comparable number of good and evil entities would serve to maintain the celestial balance. Interestingly, the Pentalpha (pentacle) seal given to Solomon to control these entities was divided by 5 lots of 72 degrees. When you start to consider the intimate nature of this geometry, it really gets you thinking.
