Amaranth Bakery: Kristen will bake up a scrumptious selection of gluten free breads (caraway, cinnamon raisin, 4-seed); dinner rolls sandwich buns, hot dog buns, pizza crusts, foccacia, muffins, cookies and granola! All gluten free! Plus many dairy-free options. Sweet Pea Farm: Joe is a new vendor this year. His heritage breed lamb is grass fed and pasture raised, as well as free of anti-biotics, hormones, and GMO feed. He will offer a variety of lamb cuts; chops, loins, shoulders, legs, riblets, etc. He is sharing space with Talking Breads. Earth Spring Farm: Located between Carlisle and Boiling Springs, they offer vegetables grown naturally without chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. Look for spring garlic, spinach, kale and lettuce. Clair’s Orchard: Strawberries are in but in limited quantities. We also have 8 varieties of apples, applesauce, juice, fruit butters, spicy peach bbq sauce (made w/ our own peaches) & canned peaches. Hillsleigh Harvest: Tara says “all of my produce is grown without the use of any sort of chemical. I grow semi-intensively on permanent raised beds. I use hand tools almost exclusively to help reduced carbon footprint.” Shell be bringing lettuce, salad mix, various greens, radishes and Jerusalem artichokes. Roots Flower Farm: At long last, peonies!!! Get there early. Orange Asiatic lilies, baptisia, sweet william and more luscious snapdragons. Three Springs Fruit Farm: We will kick off this season with our delicious cameo and Fuji apples. Pecan Meadow Farm: Daniel is with us each week providing a selection of pasture-raised meats. New this winter is a variety of pork cuts. Choices include lamb, beef, duck, rabbit, guinea and chicken. Keep you eyes open for duck eggs, granola and special baked treats on occasion. Some of the best steak in town! Check out the stone ground wheat from Daniels 1940’s seed. Talking Breads: Talking breads (Shana) offers a wide variety of old world European breads. All breads are made with organic whole grain flours and are baked in a brick oven. Weekly breads include Pugliese, Whole Spelt, Seeded, Batard, Ciabatta, Cinnamon Raisin, Fig Anise, Brioche, along with baked goods like scones and pretzel rolls. Lark Rise Farm: Sherri and Cookie have moved to the Hanover side of the market. Look for fabulous artisan breads, bagels and pizza rounds and cherry choc. sour dough. On the veg. side look for freshly cut greens, sunchokes and those delicious little micro greens. Ask for information about joining their CSA! Torchbearer Sauces: Brandon brings you irresistible flavors that allow you to spice up your food, salivate over your entrees, and emblazon your taste buds like never before! Whistleberry Farm (home of Morgan’s Mushrooms): Lynn or Rod will be at market this week with fresh and dehydrated shiitake mushrooms and shiitake mushroom logs. Piney Mountain Orchard: This week Piney Mountain Orchard will premier at market with a display of greens including mustard greens, prizehead lettuce, and spinach, as well as herbs featuring nettles, mint, and oregano.
