Did you know that nearly everyone believes that they are going to heaven......and what we can truthfully say about that is.......they may well be going to a heaven that they themselves perceive.......but below is listed what Jesus said about it. Jesus told His disciples that there would be few that enter in.....[Matthew 7:14]. The revelation of Jesus Christ says to us; And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. [Revelation 20:15] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. [Matthew 7:22-23]. So the truth is.....only those whose names are written in the book of life will enter into Heaven. Those who are born again of the Spirit of God, washed in the blood of Jesus (the spotless Lamb of God), those who are obedient and keep His commandments.....and those who endure unto the end......these are they who will enter in......these are they who won the battle.......these are they who have fought a good fight, finished their course, and kept the faith! Henceforth there is laid up for them a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to them that day: and not only to some, but unto ALL them also that love his appearing!
