Did you know that there are nearly 3,000,000 active troops and reserves in the combined forces of the United States of America? They are each a unique individual, but they all have one thing in common: their combat boots. Combat boots are strong and tough on the outside, but soft and comfortable on the inside. Just like the American heart. Just like the men and women who daily risk their lives (or give their lives) to protect the freedom and well-being of people all around the world. The Boot is made of solid sterling silver and is strung on a sturdy silver cord. It is meticulously crafted and designed to represent the excellence of the American soldier. It makes the perfect gift for anyone who takes pride in the American military and its fight to protect democracy. In fact, The Boot comes already beautifully packaged in a lined navy blue box with a card that reads, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 Charles Dickens once wrote, “If you could see my legs when I take off my boots, you’d form some idea of what unrequited affection is.” Designing The Boot was our way of showing our own “unrequited affection” for all of the brave men and women who have fought for our freedom, and continue to do so daily. The Boot is also a small way for us to “give back” to soldiers and the families that love them. This is why all of the net proceeds has already been committed to “Battle Buddy Foundation” whose mission is to help pair veterans with service dogs, treat Veterans suffering with PTSD, treat the addictions that often accompany PTSD, work with the local Veterans courts to assist with diversion/treatment programs, as well as promote the reintegration of these Combat Veterans back into society, and the work force. Every generation has their American heroes. Those serving in the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, and Navy are ours. The Boot honors all of these brave soldiers and their families.
