Did you know that there is no such thing as a #canola? Canola oil is an oil derived from the rapeseed plant, a member of the mustard family. The rapeseed is genetically engineered, originally by Canadian plant breeders. Hence the name, #Canola. (Can-Canada, ola – oil) Marketing an oil called rapeseed might have been difficult. #Canola oil is a highly processed oil that is exposed to high temperature which can alter its omega 3 content into harmful trans fats. Trading it with a natural unprocessed high quality oil as olive oil is much better for your health.
