Did you know that tomorrow is #givingtuesday? In conjunction with givingtuesday.org.uk/. To counterbalance the madness of Black Friday and the online sales of Cyber Monday Giving Tuesday is encouraging people to give a little back to charities worldwide instead! Whether that be monitarily, time spent volunteering or donations of unwanted items. Here at Greyhound Gap we have decided to participate and would urge people to pick a charity of their choice (not necessarily US) and see if there is a little bit of something you can do tomorrow. As far as Greyhound Gap is concerned we are happy to receive help in any way shape for form. We have set up a Just Giving page below for anyone that wanted to make a small financial contribution BUT equally we are happy to receive any offers of help. If you can arrange a fundraiser further afield or are near to and local to Stoke and can collect and deliver MUCH NEEDED bedding, blankets, treats and toys for the kennels hounds it would be much appreciated. Likewise if you are a business who offers match funding and would like to help out in 2015 by supporting one of our already planned fundraisers then please, please get in touch. As I personally managed to abstain from the madness of Black Friday and have no intention of being drawn into the madness of Cyber Monday either I will be donating my Christmas Card postage money to Greyhound Gap today. I have decided that instead of sending out Christmas cards this year to those further afield they will be getting an email card and a message letting them know that I have instead donated to Greyhound Gap.
