Did you know there is POWER in the Name of Jesus? Philippians 2:9-10 (KJV) 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That AT THE NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Did you know even the minions of satan have to flee at the Name of Jesus? Luke 10:17 (KJV) 17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, EVEN THE DEVILS ARE SUBJECT UNTO US THROUGH THY NAME. Did you know that Jesus gave those who believe He is the Son of God the authority to use His Name? Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) 17 And these signs shall follow THEM THAT BELIEVE; IN MY NAME shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Did you know that Jesus gave us the power to defeat the power of satan with His Name? Luke 10:19 (KJV) 19 Behold, I GIVE UNTO YOU POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Did you know Jesus said those that believe He is the Christ could not only do the miraculous things that He did when He walked the earth, but even GREATER things than He did??? John 14:12 (KJV) 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. According to these verses, all born again believers in Jesus Christ should be like modern day super heroes! So why aren’t we seeing this? For one, many preachers aren’t teaching these things to their congregations. Why? Most likely it’s because of THEIR unbelief. Jesus had this problem with some of His original 12 disciples also… Matthew 17:18-21 (KJV) 18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, WHY COULD NOT WE CAST HIM OUT? 20 And Jesus said unto them, BECAUSE OF YOUR UNBELIEF: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. If you are in a church that does not preach the things that Jesus CLEARLY taught, then it’s time you found one that did. Don’t let their unbelief rob you of the POWER that Jesus gave us through His Name and the Holy Ghost. Do you remember what Jesus had His disciples wait for after He ascended to the Father? It was the POWER of the HOLY GHOST. Acts 1:8 (KJV) 8 But ye shall receive POWER AFTER THE HOLY GHOST IS COME UPON YOU: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. This is the power that so many churches in the LAST DAYS many will have an outward APPEARANCE of godliness but deny its POWER, and Paul warned we are to TURN AWAY from such. 2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV) 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. It’s time we stopped playing church, and became the Army of believers God has intended for us to be… In the Name of JESUS, I bind and chase away any evil spirit on assignment to hinder my brothers and sisters in Christ from reading and understanding this message! In the Name of JESUS you must GO!! All confusion and misunderstanding must FLEE, because your authority has been broken! I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ to fully grasp this message and TRULY BELIEVE in the authority that has been given to them, in JESUS NAME, Amen.
