Did you know there is another account of the birth of Christ the Lord? In THE BOOK OF MORMON ...Another Testament of Jesus Christ...on page 408 in the book of 3rd Nephi, chapter 1, there is a true record that was documented by a prophet ON THE AMERICAN CONTINENT. It reads: And it came to pass that the words ...were fulfilled, according as they had been spoken (by Samuel the Lamanite 5 years prior); for behold, at the going down of the sun there was no darkness; and the people began to be astonished because there was no darkness when the night came....And there were many, who had not believed the words of the prophets, who fell to the earth and became as if they were dead, for they knew ...the sign which had been given was already at hand and they began to fear because of their iniquity and their unbelief...And they began to know that the Son of God must shortly appear; yea, all the people upon the face of the whole earth from the west to the east, both in the land north and in the land south, were so exceedingly astonished that they fell to the earth...For they knew that the prophets had testified of these things for many years... And it came to pass that there was no darkness in all that night, but it was as light as though it was mid-day. And it came to pass that the sun did rise in the morning again, according to its proper order; and they knew that it was the day that the Lord should be born, because of the sign which had been given....And it came to pass also that a new star did appear, according to the word. Also in the book of 3rd Nephi, chapter 11, page 422, in the year A.D. 34, there is an amazing description of the tempests, earthquakes, fires, whirlwinds and physical upheavals in the North American Continent attesting to the crucifixion of Christ. Darkness covered the land for three days. On page 427 the Resurrected Christ appeared and ministered to the people on the American Continent, chose 12 Apostles, taught them his gospel, institutes the sacrament, testifying in chapter 15, page 436, the Lords people in Jerusalem do not know of the scattered sheep of Israel....(see John 10 in the New Testament)...You are the other sheep I have which are not of this fold (Jerusalem); them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd...Then in chapter 16, page 438 Jesus tells them And verily, verily, I say unto you that I have other sheep which are not of this land, neither of the land of Jerusalem. I have received a commandment of the Father that I shall go unto them and that they shall hear my voice and shall be numbered among my sheep, that there may be one fold and one shepherd; therefore I go to show myself unto them. I testify we are all Gods children, Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World, there are and will be brought forth in the future numerous records of Jesus visiting the lost tribes of Israel. His Kingdom is at hand, the latter days are upon us, the Gathering has begun. The Book of Mormon and the Bible are the words of God, testifying of our Savior.
