Did you know this is one of the few buildings that survived the 1864 burning of Chambersburg? It was built in 1782 and lived in by Dr. John Colhoun, brother-in-law of Benjamin Chambers, founder of Chambersburg. Now its the location of Sellers Funeral Home on Philadelphia Avenue. Photos from 1850 and today. Special thanks to Franklin County Historical Society - Kittochtinny for running an article about its history in their newsletter!
