Did you see our post a few days ago explaining why were doing this fundraising ball in a month? If not, here it is again: ________ What is 1? Why all the hype over this fundraising ball? Weeeellll... 1 symbolizes unity. 1 aims to break down the barriers between denominations and congregation. 1 realizes the strength in UNITY between Christians in order to effectively spread the Gospel to the world. 1 is a movement. 1 started off as a collaboration between two ministries that had a vision to take the gospel outside of the four walls of the Christian Community into Nottinghams Market Square in a different way. On the 30th March 2013 we held our first outreach event and saw Christians in the form of choirs, speakers, pastors, vendors, evangelists to name a few from different congregations come together in ONE PLACE as ONE CHURCH to share the news of the ONE GOD that we serve. We had some AMAZING stories from March of people being prayed for and declaring Christ as Lord... so were doing this again in April 2014 (yaaaaaaaaaay!). However, just as it did in March, funds have to be raised for: Rental of Market Square and its facilities, Stalls, Staging, Promotion Material... ... and more. We hope that from the 1 Winter Ball fundraiser we can raise enough money to cover most of the costs for April (on top of that needed for the Ball itself). Help us with 2014 by purchasing a ticket (or 3 :D) for the ball and come and enjoy yourself. Support the movement of unity in Nottingham. YOU can help us make a change in Nottingham.
