Did you see those strawberries? I have the foundation in and the material to build an aquaponics house where I will grow those delicious berries. In aquaponics there is a tank that has fish and plants in it. I have the tank, the plants and 3 goldfish but I really need some bullheads. They will do better in low oxygen water. Bullheads also will eat dead and decaying matter as well as living stuff. Once the tank is pupulated, a pump circulates the water through a series of pipes. The plants can be in pipes or waterproof containers with rock similar to hydroponics. The fish keep the water fertilized for the roots to absorb. I have the strawberry plants also. Right now the chipmunks eat all the berries before Don can get even one of them. About a mile from our home is a place called bever pond. It is a small, spring fed pond that someone stocked with fish. I think I will go down there and look around. I have an old canoe I can launch if necessary. Perhaps there will be some bullheads there.
