Did you think to pray?...As my husband was getting ready to go tuttuliaq this morning, I stated: Pray before you leave, and if all else fail - God is the first one you should look up to. It also reminded me how our son Billy would be listening. He questions us on sight when he hears what people are saying. He heard Forrest Deano Olemaun talking about what happened to him at qitiq. Then Billy asked me if he can pray for him. Without hesitation I told him: Always pray no matter where you are, even a silent prayer works. I seen Deano walking towards our area, then Billy heard him talking and started hand trailing himself towards him. While he was reaching to touch him, I told Deano: He wants to pray for you. Begin your new year with a daily prayer knowing God is with you. Pray with your children - they will never forget it in a long run and be dependent on our Heavenly Father. Happy New Year to all. :-)
