Duncan Hunterss Teleconference town hall mtg so I wrote him this - This question actually covers a range of topics: Foreign policy, economy, budget, international affairs, veterans. The president said he is giving Ukraine a $1 billion loan. I am disgusted with this for a number of reasons. 1. The state of the United States economy - were way in the red. 2. Hes cutting military benefits but going to aid another country. 3. He keeps tacking onto our debt. I was on your town hall teleconference tonight and also the previous one, and I must say it left me feeling like our country is in a very hopeless situation while Obama is there and as long as Democrats have control. You kept saying theres nothing we can do because it falls on deaf ears when it comes to getting things through so you guys arent even putting many issues before him due to this. This is very, very sad. I feel like we all just have to lay in our beds and try to stay covered from harm until he is out. This is unacceptable. There has to be something we the people can do. Our government is for the people and by the people - not for the president, democrats and illegals/poor who vote for him. I am ashamed of being an American right now. My husband recently retired from the Navy last year and I served in the Navy for 5 yrs. We are talking very seriously about leaving California to go live in Texas so we dont have to pay the taxes we are required to pay here and only to have it wasted. Were going there so we can live debt free. Only problem is we cant sell our darn house out here in Harbison Canyon for its true value. I have been suffering from fibromyalgia something fierce the past 4 yrs and its been getting worse. I can hardly walk or stand for more than 10mins. But I have to work just so we can pay our bills and pay our taxes and on top of that I get denied disability. We actually owe taxes this year. You said that we have to extend the retirement age - this is so very very wrong. I am so frustrated because I cant see the type of doctor I need to see because of Tricare system and limiting of referrals. I see already so many old people out working - they shouldnt be out working at their ages. They should be home knitting and fishing and enjoying retirement ......... but Ukraine will get $1 Billion. Hopeless in El Cajon
