Didnt go to Davos for first time in 8 years. Five years today I interviewed David Cameron as opposition leader, he was there meeting Chinas now premier Li Keqiang. A smart move at the time, as billions in Chinese investment has followed into the UK. Ed Miliband did not go to the World Economic Forum but wrote a Facebook post about inequality - the central theme of his campaign. https://facebook/edmiliband/posts/904715519547410 He has been before, but given he might be PM in just over 100 days time, in a time of geopolitical and geoeconomic turmoil, should he not be building international allies, like Cameron did in his position? Or does this go too much against his message on inequality?
