Didnt know it was a status update nomination... Wanyama Don Innocent wants to know my all time favorite book list...For me to come up with any literature that turned my book reading adventure into an orgasmic experience we would have to go way back in time to the first time i really got into reading... Must have been P5 after graduating from comics to kiddie novels like , Famous 5, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, My life in crime by John Kiriamiti e.t.c then I landed on John Grishams Bourne Identity...my reading world exploded into something else .. I was in P7 heading to P8 in primary school in Nairobi... Cant remember how many Novels got confiscated by various primary school teachers hating on my secretive reading habits in class... but they could have weighed a ton... Secondary school, my reading was gazumped by the following based on the literature classes and also personal enjoyment 1. The Lion and the Jewel - Wole Soyinka 2. Things Fall Apart - Chinua Achebe 3. No longer at ease - Chinua Achebe 4. The Bride Price - Buchi Emecheta 5. Animal Farm - George Orwell 6. Merchant of Venice - Shakespeare 7. Cry, the beloved Country - Alan Paton 9. A bend in the river - Vs Naipul 10. Almost 1000 other novels that I cannot write here However, my literature shelf right now is consumed by IT related books and one John Grisham novel... the rest are all E-books
