Didnt know this was on YouTube! This video is just full of old school cool. Makes me vicariously nostalgic for a period I wasnt part of; and yet all of us who got hooked on to rock/metal at an early age can identify with. Love this track, the video, the vibe, and the very fact that a bunch of kids from Bombay were doing this in the late eighties. This was a proper anthem and for a lot of folks it still is! I have had conversations with the old guard of rock fans in the country and they recall these days with fondness. Kids like us can only imagine. Back then music wasnt so accessible. You had to copy cassette tapes off your US-returned cousin, instruments werent readily available, there werent a lot of folks who could help you out with the recording and such, and finally, this sort of music was still a stranger in a strange land trying to find its way around. Ah. Vicarious nostalgia, as I say. Of course, the band members still make wonderful music in Indus Creed and Whirling Kalapas. Check them out! And try to catch them live if you can. The glam is all but gone, as are the 80s, but the music lives on in another beautiful form. On that note, if there isnt a documentary on the pre-2000s rock/metal scenes in India, there needs to be one...
