Didnt think anyone would remember the date and that the ole defibrillator went off 27 times on the 27th day of July...wish I didnt remember but guess I always will and I will always remember each time it went off...that was one time I didnt think I would survive neither did the my heart doctor in Roanoke but I put it together for Emilee...I didnt want her to see me die or my family to see it...so I gave God all I had and put it in His hands...and here I am today. God is Good all of the time! I posted this on my sisters post as a comment but decided to put on mine... I do have a word of advice for all of my family and friends. In our we dont expect to have or develope any major medical issues...that happens to someone else well even being a two time cancer survivor I still never thought that I would ever need a heart transplant. So my advice, live each day to the fullest, enjoy every second you may have with your loved ones and be sure to tell them you love them. Without that four letter word or Faith life is well too short. Im not preaching or saying anything that is not true...look at me...I know I am a living and walking miracle and I know God has a plan for me. If not He would not have allowed me to live through this day two years ago among other days that followed the last two years. So I encourage you and challenge you, if you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ its time to make the decision. Had I not had the relationship where do you think k I would be today? Now is the time...by the way...we can still have fun and enjoy life as Christians...I do everyday and I still play my music...life is so much better when we have the Lord leading us. Give it a try...you will not regret your decision... And your life will be so much better! God bless everyone especially my donors family and my donor...they have so I could live....blessed indeed!!
