Didn’t want to get out of bed before my morning hair appointment, but so thankful I did! Powerlifting style day, and I only had about 45 min: Squats - 10 @ 45, 6 @ 85, 5 @ 115, 3 @ 135, then 4 X 3 @ 155. Sumos - 5 @ 95, 3 @ 135, 3 X 2 @ 165, 1 @ 185, which went up pretty well, then 1 @ 200 Also did sets of 25 crunches in between sets I got out of a work thing early at the campus by Planet Fitness, so I met up with an upset friend so we could kick our butts literally. We did 3 sets of cable hip abduction and extension with monster walks in between = constant glute burn! Decline bench sit ups to failure alternated with plie squats holding a db while standing on two benches - 55 for 15, 65 for 15, 75 for 15, which means I used the heaviest db in Planet Fitness! Attempted 1-legged hip thrusters with a 50 lb barbell, but it hurt my knee after 2 sets (targeted glutes and hams well though! I gave her some lying leg lifts to do with ankle weights while I did 15 min elliptical intervals. I’m proud of myself for cooking some kale and onions to eat with seitan tonight, and I tried the vanilla Phood to make protein ice cream with. Great flavor! This makes two nights in a row that I ate my last meal and then am going to bed not full. My weight was 141 yesterday morning and 136.5 this morning, so that’s proof (yet again) that I shouldn’t pay any attention to the scale!
