Die britische Band HAKEN sucht einen neuen Bassisten! Wer fühlt sich berufen? ^nm ----------- Do YOU want to play bass for HAKEN??? Due to the recent departure of our bassist Tom Maclean, we’re holding auditions for someone to join us on bass. We’re giving YOU the chance to come and play with the band and become a permanent member of HAKEN! If you would like to apply for a live audition in London, please send the following to hakenbassauditions@gmail: 1. A video of yourself playing our song ‘Portals’.* This is a technical challenge so we are looking for a ‘note for note’ performance, however, a bit of interpretation here and there is acceptable. We will not provide any tabs/MIDIs at this stage. Make sure your whole body from the waist up is in shot so we can see how you play and what you look like! NB. This should be one continuous take. 2. A video of you playing your own interpretation of ‘Because it’s there’.* This is your chance to show us your creative side. We don’t want a ‘note for note’ copy of the original bass part. We want to hear what YOU can come up with! NB. This should be one continuous take. A short statement explaining who you are, your reasons for applying and any other relevant information or experience you’d like to share. This part is not a competition so no matter who you are or who you have or haven’t played with, we’d love to hear from you. Important: • It’s also important to us that you are happy to sing if need be! • If you don’t live near London, you must be willing to travel to London for rehearsals and writing sessions when necessary. • The closing date for applications is Sunday 15th December at midnight GMT/UK time. We will consider all applications and select suitable applicants for a live London audition which should take place Dec 2013/Jan 2014. Looking forward to hearing from you all.
