Difference of Data of Trade Deficit of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and Trade and Promotion Centre (TEPC) Foreign trade records in 11 months of the current fiscal year show that fall in production and export is making the country dependent on others. The rising import and stable export has raised trade deficit in the current fiscal year to Rs 480.32 billion. But there are differences in data of import and export made public on 11 July 2013 by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and TEPC. While TEPC has put the total import in 11 months at Rs 549.62 billion, export at Rs 69.30 billion and trade deficit at Rs 480.32 billion, the central bank states that import was Rs 508 billion, export Rs 69.93 billion and trade deficit Rs 438.07 billion.
