Different teams of parent volunteers have been visited the school, at different times for spot checks and verification on Friday. Few of the observations and updates from these visits are: Physical Security 1. Female guards in all floors are present 2. It has been verified that lady assistant / ayahs are present near washrooms on all floors. 3. The entry to the terrace has been locked, since SPA activities have been suspended. 4. A broken grill was noticed and reported. 5. It has been confirmed that the GYM is locked. 6.All other rooms like toy store, records etc not in use were locked 7. The perimeter walls in the SPA building area, is being raised and the perimeter gaps pointed out are being closed. The work is in progress. Water tanker area fencing - work in progress. 8. The playground is currently being fenced on all sides. Work is in progress. 9. Side gates was manned. 10. Female attendants for the elevators are being interviewed. A task force of the VoV met with Ms Kavita Sahay, the director. It was discussed that details of progress of work will be sent to all parents on ERP. It was agreed that the school will provide a weekly update on the same. The school has already rpovided the 1st update yesterday The PTA formation and the scope of PTA was discussed and a broader scope of parent involvement was agreed upon. The details pertaining to that was send via circular no 1003 on ERP to parents. The cover letter and the anexture will be avaiable on VoV. Background verification for each and every employee of the school has been agreed upon. the school and VoV task force will work together on that. Ms Sahay was also made aware of the sentiments and concerns of several parents regarding the local management. Please see circular 1010 on ERP regarding PTA and nominate yourself.
