Different way of thinking – requires a break with the past way and possibly the present way of thinking. Blakeonomics is an attempt to break with the past way of thinking and behaving, in order to practice a better way of thinking and behaving. We have to depart from the past and the present, old way of thinking. We generally believe that the opposite of love is hate but if we consider the definition of love given in the bible we may find that a more descriptive opposite of love, is greed. For God so loved the world that He gave…… He gave the life of His only begotten Son because of His love for us and others. Giving to, caring for and sharing with others is love. Greed is getting more and more and too much, and is the opposite of love (giving, and giving and giving) but greed causes us to minimize or eliminate giving more to others, caring more for other and sharing more with others. Greed is an excessive concern and excessive desire to get excessive or unlimited amounts for self interest only and greed keeps as much as it can, and gives away or shares as little as it can. Greed is to get all you can and can all you get (greed). Love gives and is the opposite of Greed, but Greed gets and takes excessively more than it needs. Andrew Carnegie disapproved of charitable giving that merely maintained the poor in their impoverished state, and urged a movement toward the creation of a new mode of giving which would create opportunities for the beneficiaries of the gift to better themselves.
