Difficult decision to make but with what FIFA has become i believe this might be the only option left on the table in order too root out the rot that has engulfed football at the very top. It comes as no surprise to me that Mr. Bernstein can call for such drastic actions i have thought of a mass boycott and or mass walkout from FIFA as the only true options left given the autocratic way Sepp Blatter and those allied to him continue to conduct the affairs of the global game. FIFA has continued to use institutional and financial weakness of its member federations especially those from Africa like FKF in Kenya to perpetuate a culture of absolute impunity and a total lack of accountability. Millions of dollars that could have been used to develop future Drogbas and Toures have been squandered by federation heads across the African continent with those in Zurich turning a blind eye to all the impropriety knowing fully well that with these officials on their side Blatter and his collegues will maintain a firm grip on all matters football. It therefore comes as no surprise when FIFA rushes to the rescue of most national federation officials engulfed in corruption. In the recent past threats of banning Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia and many other member nations from football due to Interference when the public asks for accountability. This has resorted in the Sepp Blatter way being replicated across the board in most national federations where officials have been in office for 20-30 years and have nothing to show for it other than personal financial gain. It will take UEFA officials who have a little more autonomy and financial resource to reign in on FIFA. If UEFA keeps towing the FIFA line Blatter and his disciples will continue to run FIFA the way the have for the last 30 years with absolute impunity.
