Dig Deeper I often say this and it seems to be a recurring theme on this planet. So often people look on the surface and miss the deeper meaning of things. Take for example Bob Marley’s Exodus song, it is laced with deep esoteric wisdom. Exodus: Movement of Jah people! Oh-oh-oh, yea-eah! Men and people will fight ya down (Tell me why!) When ya see Jah light. (Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!) Let me tell you if youre not wrong; (Then, why?) Everything is all right. So we gonna walk - all right! - through de roads of creation: We the generation (Tell me why!) (Trod through great tribulation) trod through great tribulation. Exodus, all right! Movement of Jah people! Oh, yeah! O-oo, yeah! All right! Exodus: Movement of Jah people! Oh, yeah! Yeah-yeah-yeah, well! Uh! Open your eyes and look within: Are you satisfied (with the life youre living)? Uh! We know where were going, uh! We know where were from. Were leaving Babylon, Were going to our Father land. (Bob Marley) Truth is most people know very little about him except for his passion for marijuana, but as I listen to this song, I marvel over how much he understood the true meaning of the Exodus bible passage. Exodus represents our escape from the bondage of the lower mind and its fears and guilt symbolized in the bible by Egypt. The red sea represents raging emotions. The red sea is a symbol of the raging emotions which prevents our escape from being realized. In exodus 14:21 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and the lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind. The wind is the photon we call spirit that lights the way to the right side. It is the energy at the right hemisphere that opens the way for us to leave the Bondage of the carnal left hemisphere. It comes from the east. When you look north the east is on the right side. We therefore practice meditation to shut down the left side (the west), and turn our faces to the right side (the east). At that point the raging seas of emotions are separated, and we can continue our journey back to god’s garden. The promised land.
