Digital Journal Review: Gareth Emery amazes at EDM concert in New Yorks Webster Hall! New York - World renowned DJ and EDM producer Gareth Emery put on an amazing live concert at New Yorks Webster Halls Grand Ballroom. He played a show as part of his Drive: An American Road Trip national tour, and he will be appearing again tonight at this iconic New York venue. It was an excellent turnout, and the balcony seats were standing room only. Songstress Christina Novelli was one of his special guests, and her angelic vocals were spot-on and fabulous. They were both phenomenal on their latest single, the anthemic Dynamite and their smash, powerhouse hit Concrete Angel. The highlight track of the evening was U, his collaboration with Bo Bruce, which was worth the price of the concert ticket alone. It was one of those tracks that one would want to hear on repeat all night. The songs of his lengthy set were uplifting, fun, melodic and impressive, with infectious hooks and beats. While many tracks may have been unfamiliar, it did not matter, since he was able to get everybody on their feet, and was able to give New York one big, giant dance party. The Verdict For anybody who has yet to see Gareth Emery play live, they are truly missing out He is certainly one of the most underrated producers and DJs in contemporary electronic dance music (EDM) scene with an exceptional stage presence. It is recommended for fans of progressive house, trance and electronic music. Emery had the crowd in the palm of his hand the entire evening.
